October is, of course, the month of Halloween. Most of us associate Halloween with pumpkins, trick or treating and ghouls and zombies, but here at Tabletop Game Shop
The Arkham Horror Files are a collection of games and products from Fantasy Flight Games such as Arkham Horror the Boardgame and Mansions of Madness. The idea for October is that, as well as the usual gaming, we will celebrate the beauty (and horrors) of the Arkham games.
Enter the Mythos
The boundaries between worlds have drawn perilously thin…
Arkham Horror: The Card Game is a cooperative Living Card Game® set amid a backdrop of Lovecraftian horror. As the Ancient Ones seek entry to our world, one to two investigators (or up to four with two Core Sets) work to unravel arcane mysteries and conspiracies.

Every Thursday throughout October come and join us for Arkham Horror the Card Game. Bring along your investigator decks and play through a scenario or two (we have two decks at the shop which can be borrowed on a first come, first served basis).
Each week we will have a scenario set up and ready to play or if you'd like to play a specific scenario then bring along your scenario and monster cards too!
We'll play these scenarios as individual games rather than a campaign so if you miss the first week you're still able to jump in and play.
Don't worry if you don't know how to play, we can teach you the basics before the game.
Arrange & Play
There's more than just Arkham Horror the Card Game in the Arkham Horror Files.
Several of the Burnley regulars have the other games and are looking for players! Use our Community pages and groups to arrange games with others. So if you own any of the Arkham games then let us know in the Burnley Arkham Month event. If you're looking to play some of the Arkham games then keep a look out for games being arranged.

Joining forces, the investigators must secure the city, encountering its haunted and mysterious locations before the Ancient One awakens. If the Ancient One awakens and defeats the players in the final battle, all of Arkham is doomed.
Eldritch Horror is a cooperative game for one to eight players, based on the fiction of H.P. Lovecraft and inspired by the classic board game Arkham Horror. In Eldritch Horror, investigators travel the globe in an urgent quest to save the world from a diabolical, omnipotent Ancient One. With four different Ancient Ones, twelve investigators, numerous monsters, and hundreds of possible encounters, every game provides
